What Each Scout Should Bring to Camp Kia Kima
“Be Prepared”
Each Scout needs to take care of and safeguard his personal property. All clothing and personal items should be marked with name and troop number.
Individual Checklist
___ Scout Uniform (Scouts and Leaders are expected to wear full Scout Uniforms at all evening flag ceremonies, evening meals and programs. Full Scout uniform includes: official shirt, shorts, socks and belt.)
___ Boy Scout Handbook
___ Bible
___ 3 – 5 pairs of socks
___ sweater or jacket
___ swim trunks
___ raincoat or poncho
___ extra underwear and T-shirts (Scout T-shirt)
___ hiking and / or tennis shoes (no open-toed shoes please)
___ bath towel and soap
___ tooth brush and tooth paste
___ comb or brush
___ sleeping bag or sheet, blanket and pillow
___ flashlight and extra batteries
___ jeans or long pants
___ long-sleeved sweat shirt
___ insect repellent (with DEET)
___ hat or cap
___ Individual program needs — long pants (no holes) / long sleeve shirt
___ medical examination form (filled out and signed — medical examinations will NOT be given at camp)
___ spending money (consult troop leaders)
___ sunscreen
___ canteen or water bottle (hard plastic, such as Nalgene) with carabiner
___ stationery, pen or pencil
___ fork, spoon, plate, cup
